One Recipe

 

Turmeric Broth Detox Soup

1-2 Tablespoons of oil

1 onion- diced

1 Tablespoons of fresh ginger finely minced

4-5 cloves of garlic minced

2 teaspoons of turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon of mustard seed

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

4 cups of water

4 cups of vegetable stock

1 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of cayenne

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or lime or lemon juice

Directions

In a large pot or dutch oven sauté onion in olive oil for two minutes

Add ginger and salute for 2 minutes

Add all the spices and cook 1 more minute

Add water, stock and salt

Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes

Add vinegar or citrus

Taste and add more of what you like.

 

You can anything to this broth once you simmer it. I added one bunch of Kale and 1/2 pound of shrimp for three minutes
